Napa Valley is a small place. The wine business here is still built on handshakes and relationships, and we’re proud to be a part of it. So after 14 years of friends, neighbors, blood, sweat and tears, we’ve come full circle, and we’ve put our name on the best wine we can possibly make. For us, this is the pinnacle of what it means to call Wine Country home. For a bunch of far-flung folks who have worked awfully hard for the finer things, we think it’s Poetic Justice.

Andy Beckstoffer’s vineyards are among the finest winegrowing properties in the New World. For more than 30 years, he has been recognized as an industry leader in every conceivable aspect of viticulture. He is the consummate gentleman farmer with a surgeon’s eye for detail in the vineyard. Ask around the next time you’re out our way and see if we’re off base. We don’t believe there’s a single person in the industry who would ask the question “Who’s Andy Beckstoffer?” For a guy from Virginia to stake a claim as one of the California’s most successful vineyard gurus sounds like Frontier Justice to us.

We first came to know Marco DiGiulio when he was making the wine for Lokoya… a Parker darling then and now. A native of North Beach (San Francisco’s “Little Italy”), Marco has been around wine his entire life, and he’s certainly a man who knows how to operate a cellar. When we told him we had the opportunity to work with Beckstoffer fruit for our own project, he put his chips on the table, and we dealt him in. We recently sampled the final blends, and the smile on his face said it all. A little Blind Justice never hurt the cause.
